And Carmarthen.
Plus Aberystwyth where they have taken over the old B&Q store.
Charlie had a presence in Aberystwyth for many many decades when it was indeed called Cheap Charlie’s. In recent years they have been selling a massive amount of John Deere overalls and that kind of thing along with Dickies stuff in general at all their stores. Only Coed Y Dinas has has a JD Groundscare franchise though and that is where they are expanding. That depot has been selling Kverneland and Ifor Williams kit for many years also, although it’s not clear whether they held an official dealer status.
The vast majority of their business is concerned with general consumer goods though, especially at their massive flagship Coed Y Dinas site. It’s even a tourist attraction.

Farols are doing the Derbyshire depot as of the beginning of this last week. That’s come direct from Farols at Newark. They’ve got a couple of premise options but need to be open for October so have got to get moving on it.

Rea Valley Tractors officially got going with New Holland today! Looks impressive from the stuff I’ve seen on Facebook.

Meanwhile, after a lot of rumours and tall stories, there’s radio silence as to who the outgoing NH dealer is going to represent from now on, especially now as RVT have Kuhn for their entire patch…?
