Real hours on a TM

An awful lot of NH tractor hours are in the bottom of the Irish Sea.

I challenged a certain Irish dealer (name sounded similar to McFlurry) a few years back as he had my neighbours tractor for sale showing at least 2000hr less than it did wen my neighbour sold it a few years earlier. He wasn’t happy about it and tried to tell me I was wrong😂😂😂😂

We have a JD that due to a niche electrical fault has reset its dash clock hours more than once. Bought it 2nd hand and since realised it must have done 3000 more hours than we thought when we got it, because the engine hours are recorded on the ICU and the dealer/whoever has the equipment can read that.
It might also be the same in your case

Came in from France. So had a rejuvenating dip for sure. Hours would be low. Promised that's how the French do it. Drives well but cosmetically looks like it's had a lot of driving. Be nice to know for maintaince sake!

One of the last things to look at when considering the condition of a tractor would be the hour meter. Overhaul look, tyres, wear in linkage pins and bushes etc, handles and grab rails, steering wheel and pedals, switches and buttons. All done in a minute or two after that go with your gut feeling

We bought a ts that the hours aren’t right on dealer was honest about it. Ecu gave a figure that he didn’t trust either but we bought on gut and price as always.

very few popular tractors are honest in hours.
