Real name or alias?

Have re-named myself since BFF which wasnt my full name but could be worked out by someone who knows me.
The main reason is because being employed my updated contract now states no discusion on internet about workplace which could catch up and bite if things were to go pear shaped .obviously I wont discuss my workplace directly now

Yeah maybe so but I am not a hairy multi coloured wee Galloway bull ps.he could re-register on the new bff with my old name but only if you changed the location

Defo an alias, for the simple reasons of safety and security, if you want to give your personal details to another member/s then that is what the pm ( or whatever it is now called ) is for.

It's an alias for me too, partly for security reasons, but mostly to stop people who know me laughing behind my back at the daft questions I'm bound to ask in the future!

The trouble with a nickname is meeting another member in the real world and having to announce yourself with a comedy name !

Mine is a real nickname and a variation of my real name, which probably wouldn't take much figuring out.
