The buttons went wrong just after warranty range out. So I bought a new box at a cost of £340. Now I see the cattle have licked the buttons and buggered it again. The question is can I wire and new box up with proper buttons and switches. The current system is crap. It works off different voltage, only 3 wires go to the box. Can it be done. Or am I being a tight ares. All advice please

It can be done, but you need to have a few resistors to hand and know how to calculate their effects. I don't have teagle experience but made up external controls for a Lucas that worked on a 3-wire, different voltage basis. Analysing the current setup with multi-meter (if the beasts haven't completely chewed it up) is your first step.

Spoken as a tight....

Well to tell you the truth i cut the piece of steel off that makes you use two hands and this let the cattle lick the panel, pulling the touch pads off. I've managed to use some normal switches now and got her going. If you could help us out with a new gear box would be good. She's stripped the teeth in low box. Pm me a price if you want cheers
