I’ve a 6718S on the trelle 710s but was wondering how much the 650/60/42 would differ from the 710s for traction and floatation
Trellys are good tyres, but can't be compared to Xeobibs for low pressure work.
I have a 7720S on Michelin Axiobib2 650/65r42, while they are a great tyre for traction and weight carrying, they are not even in the same league as the Xeobibs for top work.
Horses for courses, the Xeobibs for low pressure/traveling light without leaving a mark, the Axiobib2 650s for heavy traction, high power transfer, road work.

Even with both being Xeobibs, it still comes down to what you want from the tyre.
710's are a top work tyre
650's are an all-round tyre.
Do you want a 650 tyre or a 710 tyre?

I have Trelleborg 710/60r38 on a 6718S fulltime and also have 710/60r42 Xeobibs on a 6480 for drilling and sowing. The Xeobibs are a great tyre for top work but you need to manage weight with them, I don't think they are a tyre for heavy power harrow combinations or long mounted ploughs. The load capacity for that Xeobib 650/60r42 looks lower than a 710/60r38 at similar pressure, I can't really see any benefit to it.

Bridgestone any good? Not a particularly popular brand here?
They are not that long making agri tyres under the Bridgestone name.
I have a set of VT tractor VF600/70r30 on the Bateman and I am getting on very well with them, but I don't have many hours up on them.
A guy I know has a set of their more standard VX tractor and is impressed by them. A local veg group had a set of VT tractor on narrow rims and they gave issues, but I think a lot of VF tyres don't do well on narrow rims especially if doing a lot of trailer work.
