I'm looking for a rear view camera kit to go on a Mchale fusion to keep an eye on the wrapping ring / discharged bale.
Any recommendations? Also how much cable will it need to get back to the cab?
Cheers.

I bought the cheapest one from ebay and it works just fine. Think extra 10 m cable was needed.

on the plus side you see finished or cut wrap before the the sensors sees it, the wrapping process is kind of entertaining because I always find myself staring at it :D It is also very good for tracking the shape of the bale and adjusting how you follow narrow swaths. It is really difficult to live without one when you get used to it.

I've got this one fitted in my drill hopper. Work's well, good big clear screen and loads of cable and no need for a separate power supply to the camera (some need power to screen and camera, this one takes the power from the screen through the cable)

Don't buy the cheapest on ebay. I did and they work fine, until they don't.

If you're fitting it in a hopper with a cover, fit this as well, just take the power off the side lights. The cameras are infer red night vision, but they will only pick up the dust immediately in front of them...

Avoid the Bluetooth or wireless ones. I fitted a couple of Duratec ones to my seed drill, using the power supply to the drill to save an extra cable. One works fine but the other is struggling to send the signal through, though it is behind the steel hopper.
