You only need to wander around EIMA to see how many Italian companies make toppers and ploughs. A work colleague did tell a story about mafia involvement which allowed there to be this many small firms making the same thing.Mostly Italian made and badge engineered
Nick...
Sounds like a bit of tale there with the mafia. They have always lot of very good small companies with good mechanical engineering capability, especially in the north. Similar to England in a lot of ways...they just seem more protective of this industry than us.You only need to wander around EIMA to see how many Italian companies make toppers and ploughs. I don't make any
I was pricing a McConnell heavy duty flail at the Royal Welsh ten years ago and the same machine was there in Twose,Bomford and Ino colours aswell. Ino were the manufacturer and still the dearest
That not surprising, to get "branded" uk names to sell it they keep their own price higher otherwise they wouldnt bother, in another country it would be different, its getting more common now we are a badge/ colour conscious society... still plenty of money in farming to enable this.I was pricing a McConnell heavy duty flail at the Royal Welsh ten years ago and the same machine was there in Twose,Bomford and Ino colours aswell.
