Rebecca Long-Bailey

I understand that she has spoken of remembering the worry in the family when her dads job at Salford docks was in jeopardy The docks closed for good when she was 2 !!! Reminds me of Tony Blair's memories of watching Jackie Milburn play for Newcastle

She is in good company then. Perhaps he was taken to Wembley as a birthday treat. The 1955 Cup Final was the day after his 2nd birthday. The most exciting thing ever to happen to me was 45 seconds into the game. I was only 3 days past my own birthday - 11.

On the other hand, I very much regret that Bliar has been wronged about Wor Jackie. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...-did-not-lie-about-jackie-milburn-495001.html

Precisely! They will be in the wilderness for a long time. Interesting to see Tom Watson’s article in today’s paper. As in all parties, even JC’s inner sanctum tried to cleanse the top table to suit their aims. So much for inclusion and openness. Ah but it’s politics we are talking about so they are all piranhas!
Labour need to return to the roots going for the working man's vote and helping those that need it in life
