Recent Mitas Tyres

How are people getting on with these? Been fitting BKTs for the past few years but my local tyre guy says these are very similar money but with better back up and support and probably better quality? Any users? Only grip I have BKTs is that they can be really loud on the road.

We put mitas and BKT on 2 separate tractors about a year apart. Mitas went on first.

The mitas had to be removed last year after about 2200hrs because they were splitting badly on the sidewalls. Tyres looked to be almost rotting.

BKT on 3000 hrs plenty tread left and no issues.

Mitas are the old continental tyres and they use to have awful cracking issues as very few use to ever wear out as normally cracked up well before do we're thrown away with decent tread apparently.

Offered 6(?!) year warranty on the mitas. Unless he said 6 months......Now owned by trelleborg? I

Put mitas on two tractors was worst Money I’ve ever spent pure crap lasted 700 hours on loader tractor before they started splitting. Been on other tractor for 2000 hours they are 20% at most. Put bkt on tractor in 2015 it’s done 5500 hours and are still 40%.

Yes now owned treleboug and yes the have a long warranty on them now and the warranty is good ,we had a problem with some and they paid for replacement Tyres

Don’t waste your money seen plenty cracked with good tread left got bkts here on a few tractors doing as good as the expensive brands

Our zetor cam with mitas and has loader and never had 1 flat in 4000 hours but there the older design not like continental
