Reception tank pump?

What would be the best electric one to pump up to an above ground lagoon 15 meters away? Could you use a float in the reception pit of some sort so it works as and when it needs to automatically?

We have a slatted chanel system and we need to keep it flowing around the channels like a river I suppose. The original idea was to have a pump taking it from one end and pump it into the start to create the flow but I note on various websites that they also achieve the flow by using an electric agitator/propeller located in the base of the wall that separates the start from the end of the channel. Does anyone have this system and does it work?

Yes it works, if you would like some information on how to do it drop me a dm with your email address and I’ll send over some details.

Also - if you want a good higher head electric vertical pump Bauer have a good selection [emoji3]

Yes works very well. I have had the system since 2012 under the cows and it mixes up no problem with the single propeller at the corner of the pit where the slurry channels start/finish in a slalom style system.

There is 4 full length channels and the shed 140' long running from 1 propeller.
It is a PTO propeller and we have to put it everytime we want to mix, they recommend every 3 weeks but in reality its not done as often as that!

so you have a hole in the wall between the start & finish chanNelson and the propeller fits into the hole?
Our design does not allow us the space to do that so we were thinking of putting in a submersible electric propeller, we have three phase.

Yes that is correct, a hole in the wall so once the slurry is forced through the hole it can't get back to the propeller without going all the way round the slalom system.
The electric one would be handier and used more often but we are only single phase.
