Any you guys know an A.Goodinson,started pre ent in 1980. ? How many of the pre ent students made it through the full HND course then?

yes , I do I was a pre ent with him, I think almost all went through, Paul Beckwith ran the course and did so very well.

I started with him and shared travelling,but quit after 2 months(realised the old fella wasnt going to cope for 4 years)

He lived up the road from me,and went to the young farmers there. Where is he living now,and workwise? Did he manage to date the pretty girl with fair hair,Sue C i think she was called?

Bomber Bradley was a legend in my day. I remember someone playing him in the annual review, complete with flying hat, goggles, stiff white scarf, enormous moustache and a cardboard biplane around the midriff.
Happy days indeed.

Must have been there same time as you, I was 90-93 Ag Eng, I remember that review!
The Summer Ball was always a cracking night, in my final year we built a pneumatic dinosaur that rose out of the swimming pool. Cant remember which band was on that year but Bad Manners played while I was there.
Anyone remember the late Geoff Wakeham? He used to tell us we were 'Waiting for the real world', and 'Living is a fools paradise', which a few of us had on our jumpers if I remember correctly.

I think Piggy was persuaded to retire in my second year (1996), after we were set an exam that didn't relate to anything that had been in his lectures that semester.

Kenny was principal when I was there. Had 2 daughters, one who spent quite a bit of time in male rooms!!
