We use a local company based near us here in west Wales. Excellent communication and very farming based. Agri advisor is the name of the company.
currently using them, seem quite good so far, but haven't got to the really serious bits yet, so did not 'name' them, 2nd time we have used them, last time, simple matter, saved us a few £1000. Recommendation came from TFA

A very down to earth company with the main office in converted outbuildings on their family farm. Nearly all the people working in the company are from farming background. The owner of the company, Dr Nerys Llywelyn Jones has been advising the NFU on several of their policy's and she is often in Europe lecturing on European agriculture law.

Sat next to her at a do and had good chat with her. She seemed have a good understanding ranging from 'wurzel level' up to strategic policy level.
Also met with one of the Associates at a free 1hr succession planning surgery offered by Farming Connect. She thought and talked at a thousand miles an hour, but we had a lot to get through the free hour. She pointed out a few things that our own 'agricultural specialist' solicitor hadn't picked up on.

2nd time we have had dealings with her, 1st pretty minor, but dealt with very efficiently, in our favour. What we are doing now, is definitely not minor, and very complicated, and we are very pleased with how she is dealing with it, so far, but of course, the proof is the end result ! But nice to know other people recommend her, I have hesitated to fully recommend her, until the battle is won ! But, so far, a thumbs up.

Just seen your post OP, depends where you are in Yorkshire , but, I travelled to Skipton quite a bit to get my problems solved by the firm in CCM who then recommended a professional but eccentric fella further up the road in Broughton Hall, turned an impossible situation into a successful outcome.
