Silverline, cheap as chips so get a new one when it breaks. Have had my current one 3 years now I think, might be 4, and no problems with it. When it breaks might change to battery as @Exfarmer says.

Those ones are operated by a switch in the trigger are they?

Minimum water, minimum chemical is moto of the controlled droplet atomizer applicator?
Anyone got or used one.
Notice Council parks depot have them?

I have one for applying Pruex. I can't think that they'd be accurate enough to use round small trees as they spread the chemical over a wide area. You'd need to fit a shroud of some sort.

Are they still about? Had one in the 80’s brilliant bit of kit

Micron make them still, at Bromyard.

I have done many hundreds of acres over the years and I am plenty happy enough with a CP3. If they break (which they don't) spares are readily available.

I feel a bit smug having a CP evolution with comfort harness. Did 2 acres of swedes inter row in 3 hours this afternoon with shroud fitted, hardly felt like 20kg with the comfort harness padded straps & extra straps across tummy & chest to hold the tank straight.

Only needs one pump every 4 foot or so, really good kit.

But you could buy 4 cheap ones for less, horses for courses.

I’ve got one too for pruex. Great company to deal with but I think it would be dangerous even on a still day with roundup in as it’s such a fine mist it’s easily carried by wind
