Flick knife? For me, one handed opening is essential (even though I have two hands).

Along with "heifer" wrangling no doubt....hobble belt
old traditional style, 2 rings, you can use the belt as a hobble for tying up a wild bull etc
i did a bit of bull catching "up north", in my younger days . . .
The chance of a pocket knife getting lost, is in direct proportion to the original cost.Expensive knives get lost just as easily as cheap knives.
is this also best for me?my Schrade “Old Timer” has carbon steel blades.
VERY popular “farmers” knife here back in the day, with the pick & tweezers ( stored in the handle ) & 2 blade shapes.
Love this old knife ( I’ve probably had it 35 years ? ) but the extra features & versatility of the Leatherman means it is now my “everyday” knife & couldn’t live without

Just don't lose the spyderco, it'll be the best knife you've used, EVER!
Presuming is not the Stanley blade recommendation?Ordered one of these because of your recommendation
Thanks.Presuming is not the Stanley blade recommendation?
You'll need a Gatco edge mate set of hones and blade holder now to keep the Spyderco like a scalpel
Don't use one of those little "V" draw through sharpener things..... The Spyderco blade metal is harder than most of them!!!
Congratulations on your purchase of the nicest knife to use that I've found, but don't lose it!
Bench grinder?!?!?Thanks.
I ordered a sharpening stone from them also, that they reccomended,
I've a swiss army knife but the blade gets very blunt after a few days cutting silage bales and net wrap from straw.
I've to sharpen it very often, probably doing it wrong-on a bench grinder.
Its effective for a few daysBench grinder?!?!?
Effective I suppose
Enjoy your new your when it arrives
Thanks.

The edge doesn't last very long after the grinder
never never sharpen a blade you value on a bench grinder
So does @Fragonard nowI have a knife I can open single handed with gloves on. So there!!!! .
