And do some work
Well yeah and that.
My brother has always worked in IT, his last job he’d met his boss once in 8 years, lived 100 miles apart. He spent a few hours a day doing work and the rest of the time gaming on the other computer.

Thankfully now with his current job he has to go to his job so he actually see’s people.

Did he accomplish everything he was supposed to during the few hours a day?

My son who is seriously into IT thinks WFH is brilliant, he now works hours not just to suit him , but also his company as they are worldwide. He starts silly early to communicate with Tokyo office then takes a few hours off midday and works later with the California office. Suits him but he readily acknowledges it is not good if you have a family or for new recruits who do not have the benefit of older wiser ears.
They are now working a minimum amount of days in the office a month, to assist new recruits

I'm seriously considering a move into IT for similar.
