@confusedsibling . Back in 2001 i was very lucky enough to be given the role of trainee manager on a 400 ha mixed farm. I was interivewd by owner and management company at the time with a view to take over and remove management company in 4 years. What made the role attractive to me was i didnt have a degree only 10 years of hard work working alongside my father evenings and weekends and 3 summer student roles. I liked the house as it would be my first house away from parents. I loved the overtime and loved farming. What was less attractive for the new boss was i was an unknown, I was a risk. I was on a temp 6 months contract so could be replaced at any time. I really do wihs you all the best as there are some excellent lads and lasses out their that just need a chance. If i were you id advertise as previously said on every platform going. Dont reply to comments on social media, Only accept pm's. Let them call you not messages asking you to call them (i hate this!) Social media is where you will find your next manager. It may cost you 4-5k to do this but the right person could easily earn you that money back in the first six months! Not sure where you are as your avatar says gods country which could be any county! Kind regards Rob T,
