New LEY in, red and white clover been cut once, now grazing it lightly with lambs,
It's about 8inches deep and very thick, just a bit worried about bloat, should I push the lambs out over night then push back in, in the morning 12 hr shifts!
Thought appreciated?(y).

No. They'll be fine. Give them monthly mineral drenches and if they're Suffolk cross a copper bolus and they'll be fine.

Clover is most risky when young and growing vigorously. Your stand sounds fairly well grown since mowing so low risk I would think. As said, usually hungry stock freshly introduced.
If any look moderately bloated, drench with mineral oil or even vegetable oil to let the foam coalesce into burbable bubbles. Rapid relief.

It has been pointed out to me that clover bloat is more of an issue with cattle than sheep. This is certainly true but I have seen it in sheep. However, thinking back, it was always hungry sheep let onto sub clover dense swards rather than red/white.
So, even more reason to not worry too much.
