I hope you didn't misunderstand me. I was commenting that whilst you may not be the main sprayer/drill man day to day for example you have a total handle on every part of your business top to bottom and could fill in anywhere without issue......more than could be said for someone who is more "estate manager" than "farmer".

Don’t worry I understood

There isn’t a job or machine in any business I run that I can’t do or drive and that will always be the case as long as I’m fit and able - I have too delegate, not through choice more necessity and I learnt to understand that others can often do a better job so let them !

As you say people loose sight when they get too far from the coal face
