Yes me too. We can't have our levy board aiding and abetting non assured imports at a penalty to homegrown. It's bad enough the farmers Union doing it but the ahdb isnt a voluntary organisation
beggars belief really that a UK company (red tractor) is going all out to make UK farming uncompetitive on the world stage.

wonder what they will do wen we all go under as a result of there actions?

Probably move on like the parasites they are and extract money for no return from a different industry.

If I get to the stage where I can’t pay the bills I shall tell all my suppliers it’s the fault of rt.

we have to vote ahdb out whatever they do/say IMO.....got to promote the idea that anything associated with RT is toxic....we need nfu and ufu out so RT has no farming credentials to hide behind.....so destroy ahdb as first step
That's ok unless they turn round and set up their own assurance scheme equal to imports to compete with RT, then they should be supported.

just got off the phone to nfu bod who rang back after i ranted a reply to one of 'minnys vlogs'

snippets

1/ nfu along with ufu .ahdb and brc do not own rt apparently....it's completely 'independant' :scratchhead:
2/ rt are pitching for elms
3/ nfu got a response to their consultation but are not allowed to share it.....something they 'kicked back at'
4/ i've been promised an 'over view' of nfu membership after i challenged on non farmer member influence .....they deny and i should get an email next week
5/ you can reply to 'minnys vlogs' and they are read;)
6/ i didn't hold back;)

Your NFU bod has lied to you @spin cycle

The NFU DO co-own the RT company/ logo.

The NFU DO sit on the RT board

The NFU DO have a vote/ say on current/new rules etc etc as they sit on that board!

I believe the current NFU top team member who sits on the RT board is Stuart Robinson ( or something like that ) he was only put on there after Batters was dragged kicking and screaming from her place on the RT board as it was clearly a conflict of intrests as she had been at that point NFU president for some months!

IMO NO member of the NFU top team should be allowed to sit on the RT board due to conflict of intrests!

@An Gof : Do you agree or dis-agree that the NFU co-own the RT company/board and have a vote/say as SR sits on the RT board??

If AIC, RT and,NFU don't budge on this issue, then AHDB setting up their own scheme would be the best way for AHDB to work for producers. It would need a replacement RT and a replacement AIC UFAS scheme and also preferably a replacement AIC TASCC scheme. Bring back control to the farmers..

That or we all leave RT, but lots of us are currently trapped in the scheme.

They only have to set up a reasonable size operation and it will soon grow if it recognises farmer interest. Could snow ball over night. Rt gone

I've just this minute finished my RT pigs virtual audit, what a load of poo. A quick 5 minute look at the pigs and then the best part of an hour recording pointless paper records.
I got a non compliance for not recording clearly enough the ID of medicated pigs but was allowed to "amend" the meds sheet to have a pass by "rectified at audit" which ment I had to become nothing but a lier and put down info of Individual pigs which were treated in April. What has this achieved???? I can understand them wanting it going forward but for pigs were killed and eaten over a fortnight ago what's the bloody point.

Me and the assessor didn't get on too well, first was when pig ID was mentioned and I needed to "amend" records, I got a bit sarcastic and stated it was the pig with a blue dot behind its ear, curly tail and and a slight squint with its right eye🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thats after I was asked if I was RT combinables and I said "yes at the minute but I don't know for how much longer"
I then went on to say unless Mosley, smithy and there cronies bucked there ideas up about what RT is and should be then me and many others would be saying sod it, it's becoming too ridiculous.

Somehow I passed with a clean sheet🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The ahdb will have to side with farmers on this because if they are seen to be working against us, they will be voted out of existence at the first opportunity.

Indeed.

Allowing a private company run by a small clique to get between buyer and seller and syphon off some profits and claim that thanks to them there is no salmonella, bse and foot and mouth is just not on.

It smells corrupt

It looks like bulls**t, it smells like bulls**t and is 100% bulls**t. Grain grown in the U.K. under U.K. law is far safer than 99% of imported grain. Mass balances, monitoring grain temps etc doesn’t stop salmonella, bse or foot and mouth. We don’t need an alternative assurance it’s simply not required.
