There is no possible way a pack of flour can be traced back to the farm - this is an utter 100% provable lie - ASA should fine them for this false advertising

that's before we consider that basically no flour of bakery product carries the red tractor logo anyway and that most flour and bakery products contain imported ingredients

Meanwhile, the NFU and AHDB support and provide credibility to these liars ................ frankly how can we trust them at all on that basis ?

Millers often won't use exclusively UK flour because it won't meet their needs entirely. Sometimes they buy imported and blend it to get the end result they want. Tis a complex business is flour.

obviously ........................................ which make RT pointless for UK growers ................... and pack to farm claims an utter lie

Ignoring the NFU and the sluggish AHDB everyone needs to keep bringing the attention of the Red Tractor private industry to the attention of the Advertising Standards Authority and the Competition and Marketing Authority.

If you go here:

And make sure the CMA are aware of what Red Tractor and the AIC are doing and how they are restricting marketing opportunities. Explain in the email your individual case and the more numbers and emails they see in front of them the more they will be willing to look more strongly at it

Nip to your local shop, buy some flour or bread with the logo. Then ask which farm it comes from.

This should result in a prosecution or at least a public reprimand. Bad publicity might show this scam up for what it is.

It's a false claim, like the one about animals having a personal vet. Complete bollards.

They only tell these lies because the truth is that they have nothing of any worth to say, and no value in their silly little toy tractor idea

Technically speaking if the flour is Red Tractor it is traceable but the day the wheat gets loaded out in the mill the red tractor traceability is lost because beyond what it provides for free it is of no use or value to the millers. If it was they would be interested in Red Tractor labelling their produce on the shelf

If our cupboard is anything to go by it is dam near impossible to find a flour that has a RT logo, even on those that are "100% British"!!

Spot the RT logo... to be fair some of these examples below might be on the back but online shoppers cant see the back of the back of the product.....

It's also disingenuous to say red tractor wheat or flour needs a passport. All wheat does.
I think there social media dept has gone into overdrive recently to try head off some of the bad press about them!

Its obvious there not thinking before putting these stupid comments out on places like FB, and as a result are just making bigger fools of themselves!

A failing business getting desperate by the looks of it!

But they can’t keep scamming and conning money Out of farmers because we are on to them!

They must be fools. Social media is full of shyte even posting on twitter is devaluing the value of the RT brand. They should steer clear of the internet.

I don't think any of those companies use the Red Tractor label on their packaging do they?
