Ignoring the NFU and the sluggish AHDB everyone needs to keep bringing the attention of the Red Tractor private industry to the attention of the Advertising Standards Authority and the Competition and Marketing Authority.

Nip to your local shop, buy some flour or bread with the logo. Then ask which farm it comes from.

This should result in a prosecution or at least a public reprimand. Bad publicity might show this scam up for what it is.

It's a false claim, like the one about animals having a personal vet. Complete bollards.

Technically speaking if the flour is Red Tractor it is traceable but the day the wheat gets loaded out in the mill the red tractor traceability is lost because beyond what it provides for free it is of no use or value to the millers. If it was they would be interested in Red Tractor labelling their produce on the shelf

If our cupboard is anything to go by it is dam near impossible to find a flour that has a RT logo, even on those that are "100% British"!!

I think there social media dept has gone into overdrive recently to try head off some of the bad press about them!

Its obvious there not thinking before putting these stupid comments out on places like FB, and as a result are just making bigger fools of themselves!
