Craig Bradshaw has been appointed to work as UK area sales manager for the Farmtrac tractor brand to continue its growth in the market and secure dealers for the franchise.

Mr Bradshaw was welcomed to the team in February, just before lockdown began, to build the Farmtrac brand in the UK. Despite the hiatus, conversations with interested dealers have continued post-lockdown and as someone who has worked on a farm for five years, Craig says it’s easy to understand why.

He says: “I know only too well the importance having a reliable, quality tractor plays in getting the job done quickly and efficiently. Farming is tough work and not all tractor brands are the same. Having worked as a farmer for five years after leaving school I am aware of what constitutes a good tractor and Farmtrac brings everything you need to the role. I was delighted to join the company and be part of something I think is going to be big from the beginning.”

Since its launch at LAMMA in January, the Farmtrac range has been endorsed by dignitaries from the world of technology, engineering, agriculture and politics, has appeared on BBC’s Countryfile and the world’s number one clean energy and electric vehicle channel FullyCharged and has quickly secured a number of dealers across the UK. Craig is on board to make sure the success continues.

Mr Bradshaw says: “Not only have I got experience in farming, but sales too. I spent nine years with two national banks in a sales role, and then went to work at an agricultural dealership for eight years to combine farming and sales, selling both groundscare equipment and tractors. So, I can see the appeal of Farmtrac from all sides – it’s not only a sound investment for a farmer but it’s a sound business opportunity for a dealer too.”

Steven Haynes, tractor sales manager at Reesink, says of the appointment: “Craig’s role is to build the brand in the UK and grow a dealer network essentially from scratch. His experience and credentials across many aspects of our industry stand him in excellent stead for this. It’s going to be exciting to see what opportunities this brings to the business.”

Mr Bradshaw concludes: “I rely on first impressions and my first impressions of Steven, the team behind him and Reesink as a business to work for were entirely positive. I think this will be a hugely rewarding role, it has all the right ingredients – a reputable, established international distributor, bringing a competitive, good quality brand to the UK, with the support of competitive warranties and finance available.”
