We are in the process of re furbishing our opico GT 380 dryer and would like to know where the best place to get parts from?
To be fair when we tidied one up the metal work i.e the bottom of the main auger and the metal work around the intake auger we either made ourselves , the main auger bottom if rotted out take off , easy to have someone plasma cut or roll metal for you to weld up , sensors etc easily got via eBay or failing this buy one off eBay whole and make one out of two.

Ok thank you. The bottom is rotten in ours so needs replacing. I did try Josh the bottom pan is about £450. So It May be worth fabricating our own. Do you have a link for the sensors?

We reconditioned one of ours , welded in a sheet of quarter plate steel as a bottom plate, put a remote grease nipple on the bottom bearing so that it actually got greased regularly too. (Early machine)

Morgan Machinery are the recon experts for parts etc iirc. had one off them when our Farm Fans drier went up in smoke as an emergency replacement.

If these mobile driers run a bottom bearing when full how are they repaired? . Does all the grain need emptied out to gain access or can they be done from outside and under the chamber.

Our magna is a 2014 and don't like idea of having to empty it with a bucket

Long time ago now but iirc the bottom bearing is under the bin, the weight of the auger is taken at the top. Hence greaser made remote as under the drier is a pile of dust, weed seed etc that comes through the cone of the drier! so it got greased only when someone (usually me!) cleaned it out.

Greased regularly though they were no bother, lasted a long time.

Hi Sorry to trouble you but I see you posted a comment on this outfit some time ago. is https://recondriers.co.uk/ still legit? Just had a quote on a drier which seemed a little too good to be true. Website has only a mobile number and a vague address of East Yorkshire. No names, no company details Nothing that inspires my trust :scratchhead:
Yes he’s totally legitimate, I’ve had an electric drive from him this year. Only paid after delivery, have a friend who’s also had one from him and others parts as well. He’s also quoted me on some others projects for next year. Really knows his stuff 👍

Hi had a new centre auger tube, and a full set of flighting to redo my auger this year. No problem. Mate had a new bottom for his Opico just the other week,.
I know there is a lack of exact info on the website but he has sent me stuff over 450miles away and then sent an invoice to pay.
You are right to be suspicious, there are a lot of chancers on the internet.
I'm well glad Phil is pleased as it was me who suggested him on the electric drive conversion thread, if you look on there some other folk had used him too.
Phone him up, see what you think.
Josh is a sound guy, really knowledgeable about Opico driers.

As above Josh is sound, he reconditioned our drier on site a few years ago and sent me some tube and auger to allow us to extend the unload auger through the shed wall.
