Regenerative Farming Survey - UK FARMERS ONLY

If you are a farmer in the UK, I would really appreciate if you took the time (5 mins) to fill out this regenerative farming survey as a part of a university dissertation:

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/5WYKL22

The survey consists of two parts. The first part (7 Q’s) are general questions about your farm (size, location etc) and the second part are questions to understand the reasons why you are or aren’t a regenerative farm.

All responses will remain confidential. All the data used in the survey will remain anonymous and will only be used for the completion of my BSc dissertation. You do not have to take part in the survey, no reason needs to be specified, and you are free to exit the survey at any point. Once you click ‘Done’ your responses will be entered into the survey and it will not be possible to withdraw at that point. The database will be destroyed at the end of this investigation by July 2021.

I filled it in and offered feedback. Then it told me I'd have to resubmit my answers because you'd changed it or something. Sorry, too busy to do it twice

Even with question 4 removed the second page seems to be exclusively aimed at arable farmers, maybe you don't think a livestock operation can be regenerative or maybe you think livestock keepers shouldn't be called farmers.

I sincerely hope the results of your survey are not viewed seriously by anybody as I believe the conclusions you draw from these questions will be worthless.

We run a family farm .. my father is 70+, I'm 50+ and the grandchildren are 5 to 21 .. why are you asking about my age ?

I don't see why I should state the size or location of the farm .. has no baring on methods.

"Regenerative farming" is just words. Would make more sense if you found out about existing methods of tillage, traffic, fertiliser, organic manures, cropping, livestock etc. Am I 10% regenerative farming or 55% regenerative farming etc.

"Yes" or "No" isn't farming.

I did try to do your survey and even got past question 4.
We are a livestock farm. So does that count as integration of livestock? Are livestock farms dismissed as non-regenerative? Livestock farms have things like livestock and farmyard manure that are regarded as important elements of regenerative agriculture but rather fundamentally you didn't define regenerative agriculture . As others have commented, your survey seems aimed at arable farms or those with a high element of arable.

not well thought out at all, did answer all questions, but you need to seriously look at the principle aims of regen farming, your survey just rolls over the top.

You failed! Badly worded questions and a distinct lack of tact occasionally too.

But I managed to complete it & add a couple of comments at the end.

trying to move towards regenerative farming, with an aim towards holistic management (Alan Savory, Greg Judy), however this does not entail tillage or drilling, as I don't do either I could either lie or failing that, I can't complete the survey. I know I have a small farm but that does not mean that it is not farming!
