I've only just found out about this through a NFU email telling us we all have to fill them in, so not much fight has gone on. We are seriously thinking of not renewing our NFU membership this year.
our sub was due in oct , i declined to pay. had a call yesterday from the local branch sec to ask why , after giving him a list i told him we want to be helped not hindered. he left it that he would come and see us next oct.

The Group reps are on the whole, decent folk. They will give the Party line when they try and keep you signed up, and will inevitably repeat the argument that your NFU Premiums will increase as a result of non-membership. Explain nicely, that if that is the case, you will need to look elsewhere for Cover.

Every lost client is another argument for Batters et al to go.

I've had nothing official so won't be filling anything in till I do agronomist not heard about it
It is a very easy form to fill in & will accept estimates on quantities. From what I understand it doesn't want to know every pesticide you use, just total quantities. Then email to the address given, took me around 15 minutes (fairly simple farm though)

Email them in Welsh and ask for a copy in the Mothertongue.... ;)
This is how stupid the devolved powers and National Government work ,also same with HMRC, Vat ,Valuation Office ,Defra etc etc etc.
The Senedd and Dickford state they rule and fund everything ,just shows all smoke and mirrors and National Government departments still rule?
