I've tried filling in online and can't do it. Emailed them to assist and there help form won't download. Currently waiting for a paper form to fill in and post it back to them. Im on Apple Mac book but doesn't seem to be playing the game. In all honesty I'm sure its my lack of technical ability:ROFLMAO:
You've got to download form and save file to your computer ?
You then fill in form once its on your computer and then attached completed file to an email.

(y), Daughter scrolled through gov guff, not any explanation anywhere so put yes. not sent it yet.
waiting on reply to email from gov ( how long if ever:banghead: )
noticed something about bringing search warrents:eek:.
seems to be yet another control of farmers thing.

Seemed quite straightforward to me! Thats is not anything to go by, by the way! I have completed a few for farms I visit. Takes 10 minutes or so to fill in farm details, quick estimate of chems used annually, finger in the air job and then submit the spreadsheet via email. Where on earth did you see reference to search warrants? Not really a control - just government finally trying to get to grips with who holds pesticides. Similar to having to tell fire service if hold ammonium nitrate. Cheers.

This and the now retracted ban on autumn muckspreading are very similar in how they are supposedly being delivered to us.If you choose not to read the farming press and do not belong to the NFU or any other farming organisation and heaven forbid , you do not participate in our forum or do not converse with fellow farmers then you would not know about either hair brained scheme.
How many farmers and contractors etc, have received anything formal from Defra the EA or our dear government in writing to say that this is and must happen or you will get nicked?. I honestly have had no notification. Call me ignorant if you wish but it is all hearsay until I am informed formally from an organisation that I recognise as being able to enforce this unnecessary registration and subsequent snooping. I suppose I must add that I have nothing to hide if I am made to register .

They do say ignorance is bliss!!! :)

Print out ,fill in ,re scan back in type arrangements is it?
No, you can type into the downloaded form.

As mentioned download it to your computer then open it, some answers are from the drop down box or just typed.

I suppose you could do as you've suggested if you wanted to perhaps, as long as they could open your attachment.

I used the Microsoft version. it's a bit clunky, shoots to the left when you click where you're supposed to type but carry on typing then pull it back with bar thingy at the bottom of the screen.

Doesn't seem to like scroll on your mouse so slide bar buttons at side.

Very simple to be honest, daft bit is where you count sprays used and either work it out as litres or kilogrammes but you mustn't put down anything but a plain number, no KG or Litres.

Litres your told to count 1 litre as 1 kilo, so I added up my Ally Max plus all the other liquids used, converted to Kilos and that was my answer, just the plain number.

As forms go its easy to fill out and nice to see a govt dept that are being efficient in wanting it emailed in a spreedsheet format so can all be collated automatically.

Its just a shame all this EU nonsense was carried over in the EU Withdrawl act.

I approached it with fear and foreboding, having just been reduced to a drivelling wreck by HSBC Safeguarding.
However, when I did get into it I found it quite easy. Download, fill in, email it as an attachment to the address given. If I had had to do multiple returns I probably would have been a bit fed up.
BTW, if I wasn't a TFF follower, I wouldn't know anything about it.

Has anyone had official notification to fill it in ,I certainly haven't had anything
Not an official letter as such from HMRC but I deal with SAC Scottish Agricultural College for Agronomy and for general advice, form filling etc.

They're generally spot on with this kind of stuff and my Agronomist has been telling me for a while, I got a text alert to get it done as I'm on their list.

Mate's Agronomist got him to do it also.

I see it's on HSE as well, tbh really simple to do, if it was a written form probably take about 30 seconds.

"Under new regulations all businesses using pesticides need to register their details by 22/06/2022 even if pesticides are applied by a third party. Form can be found at https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...t-protection-products-ppps-register-as-a-user"

Likewise, I had a reminder email from my agronomist, but nothing ‘official’.

Who are they going to prosecute (persecute?) for not filling it in though? It’s not like they’ve got a register of those people that use ppp is it…

Always wondered this , when you buy chems, (online anyway) you have to sign declaration that they are for professional use , but where does the order info go from there !
