have a few buff log books with some interesting reg numbers, can the numbers be sold or will they have expired and can they go on cars/trucks or do they have to stay on tractors
No longer have tractors just log books

I don’t know about now but at one point tractor number plates couldn’t be transferred onto cars or the like, I think it was to do with tractors not having an MOT.
It’s several years ago since I enquired at the DVLA tho when I wanted a number off one of our old tractors, they may have changed the rules now tho.

Don't post pics of the reg number of the doc for sale. I'm told the dvla browse ebay etc cancelling documents sold without the vehicle.
Probably quite rightly too.
