Boris Johnson and a powerful group of cabinet ministers, including Lord Goldsmith and Michael Gove, are enthusiastic about the idea of reintroducing animals which went extinct in this country hundreds or even thousands of years ago. Carrie Symonds is also a fan of the idea, and now works for The Aspinall Foundation, which reintroduces rare animals to the wild in other countries.

Utter carnage in the loire in france , after introduction of wolves nearby , ive seen loads of pictures of dead sheep all over my FB timeline , not just odd ones either , like dog attacks here , sheep ripped to pieces maybe 8-10 ewes a week on some farms , It got so bad last summer they tipped a 10t load of dead ewes in front the mayors office , and local protest ,

Introduction of more primary predators seems like utter madness.

What will that do for biodiversity?

Since the number of raptors increased aim our area, as lovely as they are to see, there has been a serious reduction I'd say, in the number and variety of songbirds.
