Remaining is better than Mrs Mays deal

We are in the sh!t now, too late for questions, we are under the wing of the Dragon, and cold and all as it is, it was the people's choice to do this, so we've got to tolerate it.

The time for questions such as the one in the OP, passed a long way back.
We took a vote and now something that some claim as unforseen has happened.

A twist in politics, never! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Looking at it from the point of view of trade, standardisation and keeping hindrance of movement of goods, money and people to a minimum, then staying in is the most sensible option.

I don't have a problem at all with low, medium or highly skilled immigrants being here. They work hard, contribute to the economy and do a lot of stuff that the natives just won't do. I even consider the term immigrant to be bad manners. Fundamentally, why do we have any more right to be here than somebody from Poland? Just because we are born here doesn't in my view give us some automatic entitlement. It isn't something we ourselves have done (being born) actively but passively.

The whole "Britishness" thing is nonsense. The who patriotism, nationalism thing is nonsense.

So why can't we accept that the world has changed, stay in the EU and continue the progress that has been made over the last 40 years, not turn the clock back to nationalism, isolationism, prejudice and frankly racism.

And the problem is now we are stuck in a situation of misguided political dogma and also political opportunism. Labour should be offering an alternative but they aren't, yet they are happy to wreck the only option on the table at the moment. That is completely irresponsible.

In business you might come up with an idea. You test it out by doing market research and forward planning such as cashflow forecasts. If you find it to be unworkable you generally ditch it. This is the big difference between politicians and business people. The politicians can't or won't react to changing information. They won't change course as they believe the electorate will feel betrayed, so they will hit the iceberg and take us all down.

IMO, false information, playing to the worst prejudices of the people got us into this mess. We could learn from it and easily et ourselves out of it by staying in the EU. But for all the wrong reasons the first mistake will be compounded and made 10 times worse due to the political self interest and general low intelligence our of politicians.

It's a no brainer IMO. Stay in.

I think Hammond and May have done the cashflow forecasts, and that is why she has come up with the deal she has.Trying to keep the frictionless trade going, and at the same time saying over and over that we have got our borders back, out the ECJ,etc etc.
