Different markets, 70% of what the UK exports and imports from the EU is components (mostly precision and hi-tec) that to go into other products, hence the US is our second biggest market. Whilst people may say the developing countries are were the biggest growth is going to come from it's a market place we can't compete in. So we will have to leave the exporting of plastic washing up bowels to Botswana and the like to the Chinese and other low cost counties.

Where on earth have you dug up this information as its nothing like anything I can find. Another example of project fear I believe,

Brexit 'puts 70,000 Belgian jobs at stake'

Belgium's Prime Minister Charles Michel says Brexit threatens 70,000 jobs in Belgium "if there is no good agreement that protects our economic interests and our citizens".

He promised to be vigilant to ensure "stability and responsibility".

No shock really, a guy left our buyers group once, when he asked to get group discount on an oil tank, the committee said no you're not in the group, saying yes would have been wrong IMO.

You can't be both out and in.

I agree with the lesson in your parable.
But with the wrong people (remainers) at the helm..........

Mrs May is coming home with nothing new. Im fast going off the irish pm , arrogant twit.

Terrible innit .... the PM of a country actually standing up for the interests of its citizens. The timerity of the man, to actually put together a tight professional team of civil servants and advisors, to plan a strategy through a possible economic crisis for his country. Then to have the audacity, to speak calmly and resolutely, stay on message, work the corridors of power in European capitals and stay the course ....

If there was a transfer market for PM’s, Leo would have a value, many many multiples of anybody your lot can produce right now ....
Ditto for the civil servants and advisors around him.

Substance over size any day of the week ...eh ...
