Remapping a vario tractor...

I’m thinking of having a John Deere autopower tractor remapped, will having it done affect the “relationship” between engine and gearbox? Experiences not opinions please....

We've got a re mapped 7930 and it's fine and a chipped 6155r only reason we didn't map it was it was still under warranty the chip doesn't bother it so map should be good

The "Relationship" between engine and gearbox would not be effected by an engine remap, however id suggest keeping the power output sensible. Get to carried away and it may feel like the engine power puts things under to much stress. If you let me know a model number I can suggest a sensible power output

We have got a 6150r thats been remapped to 180 and its never had any issues.

It's 270 at the shaft before boost .

It was done before we got it we didn't notice till we got it home
