How do people remember passwords ? I have 23 passwords that i use,to remember them i have them in a book but i have lost my book . If its a password that i am allowed to choose i have 3 that i use .
The problem comes when i am issued with a password that is a mixture of numbers and letters both high and low case .
My bank Hsbc has got voice recognition and i can use my fingerprint via my iphone as security checks this must be the way to go
As more business is done online how are we expected to remember and keep them secure

''Tis a bloody nightmare, I pad remembers a lot for me but still not perfect and end up using the same password for multiple sites. Fingerprint recognition has to be the way?

Not very security consensus! but all pin codes the same and all passwords the same. Any passwords that are given to me and can't be changed, are saved under a file called passwords with a password protect using my usual password!

I've got regular used ones in my head and the rest written down.lots stored in notes on iPad so if it was lost or stolen I'd be in a bit of a muddle

All carefully written on Postit notes stuck to the computer which regularly get changed, lost, and rewritten in an illegible scrawl because it is hard to write on a vertical surface. Then they fall off because Postit notes don't work and I can't find the Cellotape. I hate security and don't do banking except face-to-face or by letter so all a bit pointless.

It does seem the world revolves around them.
I go unique for each and save them in notes, but my trick is criptic file names and extra junk so my password will be random like.

But I save it as
DadScc446S57htjfeet (note the caps difference as well)
And user name will be added like the usual plus ........
Or old wifi plus......
some I just remember and don't write down but these are just a handful of the most important.
Also activate 2 factor authentication when possible add your mobile phone number they text you if someone attempts to log in from a new devise.
And require code they supply via text to set up each tablet or pc you use to access your accounts, I do this for gmail mostly. Because if they get in that they can reset passwords for sites via your email as you do if you forget them.....

I am not too bad at remembering the ones I use a lot. That does concern me a little as I know the login for business banking and I haven't written it down. Could be a pain for the other partners if something happened to me.

1 company I use every month insists on changing passwords every 3 months, that is an annoying pain.
