Remote light switch

Want to fit work lights to a trailer, by taking a feed from the sidelights (all led so no issue there).
But need to be able to turn them off from the cab, can you get quality, ip rated, reliable remote switches that work with a keyfob?

Put one of these on ifor , works OK but sometimes struggles for signal as receiver is under floor of trailer,

Also fitted one of these that switches lights on when body of trailer is raised slightly

I fitted one of those to my trailer so i could power the reversing light off the foglight, works ok, but the first one i fitted died from water ingress (leaky Ifor junction boxes) so I made sure to seal up the replacement.

Tske the 7 pin plug apart on the tractor end and fit a switch in the cab off the fog light wire then use the blue fog light wire on the trailer side to run your extra lights switching them on and off from the cab. The hardest part is fitting a switch in the cab but once you've done that you can then fit lights to every implement/trailer really easily

Thanks, done that before but not possible on this trailer as it already has fog lights, and will be used on several different units, including ones not owned by me.

It's a HGV flat trailer so needs to be 24v too.

Lots of winch remote controls on eBay, just need a latching relay in a box on trailer. 1 button or in winch lock relay on, 2nd switch winch out would switch off relay.
Lots of different winch remote styles available, find 1 that could suit your job, some are dual voltage, quick look finds plenty 24v versions

Something like this

A m8 has a reversing white light, led ,on his ivor . Scotch blocked into the reversing light wire . So he's better chance of seeing behind when reversing.
