Remove trailer pressure hubcaps

I have to grease the trailer axle bearings. What method do you use to remove the pressure hub caps that cover the bearings?
They are very tight and I don't want to damage them

If they’re the ones I’m thinking of then just knock round them with a mallet still loose.

Take wheel off first.

Small heel bar and hammer ,just keep going round it gentle taps ,usually moves them

Claw hammer works a treat if you can get a start just keep going around

Alternate clouts on each side with a rubber mallet to loosen/break the seal then prise off gently
