Reading with interest.
The point with the heat is to heat/expand the bush isn t it , not expand soften the bolt .
Ive had stuck stuck propper solid the rust / shite after got it moving and apart with heat on reassembly it had clearance .
Lots grease / copper slip on reassembly.
Id probably cut into the beam as described.... to get at the bush , nowt to loose eh .
Getting rid of the mushroom end is important

Bear in mind the bolt is not seized with rust it did move initially about 25mm. In my view the bolt is bent at each end in the bush and will not push through. I don’t think heat will help.
If i want it out, whole thing is going to need cut out now i think. Probably not worth it.

+1 for mini digger hydraulic pecker if it will fit. Used one to remove obstinate main boom pivot pin on telehandler.

Your friendly local manitou dealer may have just the thing for the job. [emoji106]

If you can get a piece of very heavy box section about 3ft long, weld a heavy plate on each end.
weld a suitable sized bolt to the top heavy plate. not long, an inch will do.
put box section upright and lower the plough stuck bolt onto the bolt you welded on, so entire weight is on that bolt.
Attack plough with biggest hammer you have.
put a heavy plate on the plough so you dont damage it with hammer

I think the only thing that will move that is a drill, and it may well need a carbide tipped one! I feel that the holes have worn tapered, and by hammering the bolt you have effectively riveted it in place. Carbide drill bits are available under the "Drill all " label, but they are not all that large.Reground masonry drills will do the job, but regrinding them is the problem, they are harder than most bench grinder wheels! As you have a mag drill you may be able to use a carbide tipped end mill.

Put the weight of the digger on it and hit the trigger, yes it jumps but you’d be amazed once it starts to go, also a good operator helps [emoji6]

It's only a 16mm diameter bolt though. I would think a breaker would just 'rivet' it in even more.

Could see it working on a larger diameter hardened pin.

how does that work?

Used for pulling dry liners and the like. Placed over a chair (frame to clear the liner as it appears out of the engine block) an adjustable rod runs through the hollow ram to a dolly fitted into the bottom of the liner. Adjust up the rod to line everything up, and expand the ram to draw the liner out. Also used to change suspension bushes on commercial vehicles.

This lad is using a bolt that doesn't always work.

I can t see how that will pull the bolt out
