Renault Ares 620rz Lift Problems

So I work on a farm with a Renault Ares 620rz, It's very nice to drive and I like it overall but there is one major issue with it, lift arms are very tempormental. Most of the time when I would want to use them the red light to indicates when they are locked or not is flashing and the controls't work and so you have to use to manual overide to lift and lower the s which is very annoiyng as they are not easy accsesed. Also when the controls do unlock the controls will only lift the arms and not lower. I have heard that this is a common enough problem with this tractor but I havnt heard of any solutions other than ripping out the computer and doing a number on it im wondering if anyone knows if there could be anything more simple causing the issue?

Check the buttons on the wings , get water in them and cause all,sorts of issues.

They were disconnected a long time ago to my knowledge cause they werent working but the arms worked without them for a while after from what I've been told.
