I’ve 7ac rented of good PP, unfenced on 3 sides. Don’t pay for water and no BPS. Can graze from 1st of March to 1st of Nov and pay £45 an acre. Landlord has offered to contribute to proper fencing and lime. Farm up the road have 6m summer grazing licenses for £90 an acre.

So the rent won't even cover his lime

Needs a ton to the acre, and last time I had some spread (maybe 2 years ago) it was £16 a ton spread. Joys of being near a quarry

Round here people are paying up to 200 sometimes more.
