Planning permission, change of use.
Tenancy agreement.
Site security.
Choose your tenants wisely and go with your gut instinct from the off. Have a checklist of who you do and don't want and don't waiver from it.
Payment by direct debit only.
Check out other sites and find out what they charge, don't undercut, make yours better and more appealing.

No frills keep the shed watertight and lockable , contents their responsibility , no agreements. Give them direct debit payment ist of month and if they dont return that they dont come in at start. If they stop
paying at some time tell them at start it will be cleared . Dont advertise go on recommendation its worked that way for us.

What can i charge dry, secure with lighting and power ? 18x6 metres to be used as machinery storage and an area for maintenance. Its not a workshop, so limited attendance by the tennant.

im struggling to find somewhere to start a small classic motorbike workshop from. I dont have the funds for the usual commercial properties who are priced well out my "non" budget.
id be interested to find more info on who advertises such buildings please.
Google is not my friend, each time i ask the question i get farm houses or barn conversions!!

Pop in to your local agricultural estate agents.They can assist as will have scores of farmers on their books who have barns/sheds and will be looking to diversify. If you are in Wales i can put you in contact with a couple of machinery rings they are a body of farmers who collectively purchase inputs but also advertise services with a monthly booklet and online database. Alternatively advertise on here with what you want as many farmers use this forum

i dont think there are any agricultural estate agents local to me, again google is not helpfull, as i tried to "find" agricultural estate agent, and hell fire, all i get is wasted time, i get everything but.

Im in North Lincolnshire.
