Repairing elevator web . Re using straightened bars.

I,m in the process of stripping out bent bars from a web. I have about 13 x 1480 mm , 3 belt bars to replace . I’ve straightened a few in the vice , without heat . Are they worth reusing or is it a waste of time once they’ve been bent out of shape once. I have some straight ones on an old belt that I could use , but obviously that’s a lot of extra drilling and I want to get back lifting ASAP.

Ok to use the straightened ones or spend the extra time on stripping the straight unbent ones from the old belt ?

We straighten digging and haulm bars on our spud diggers regularly with no ill effects. Ours never break where they've been straightened, usually only next to the rivet. Just don't use heat or they will break.
