Repairing Front Tractor Rim

So I managed to bend the bead pretty bad on my tractors front rim while out topping today...

Would anyone have any Ideas on what I could try & do with this? Is it worth trying to straighten or should I be looking to get a new rim?

Save your money on the gas to heat it and buy a new rim. It’s stretched to push inwards and won’t compress to go back thru the gap to make it round again. Won’t be that expensive as your only buying the outer rim not the dish as well. Cheaper too than having it split at ruin a tire on the road Friday night in the rain. Make your first loss the last one.

That's exciting, how'd you manage that?

Little bit of heat, get her straightened up and stick a tube in there to keep the air in.

I recently bought the farm & it hasnt been farmed in years so just trying to tidy the brambles & managed to just clip a cut down tree trunk hidden in the brambles.

Where in country are you?
Your previous posts say your 7840 has a loader on.
Fresh rim would be £100.
Cheap.
Im not in the uk, Im in france, yes the 7840 has a loader on it, I would probably just buy a new outer rim but I can't seem to find the right one for the tractor

like I said won't happen if there is no air in it

watch the video in full, towards the end he talks about 2 examples, one specifically where they had removed the tyre from the bead on one side and proceeded to weld the rim. The chemical reaction happens so fast that the heat produced expanded the atmospheric air within the tyre so quickly it re-seated the tyre before it then exploded, killing one of the 2 fitters working on the job.
