Replacement for jd550

Right I’ve been running a jd550 for doing a bit of hay and what not just a little bit round home but today it’s f**ked me right off wrapping in the pickup reel wouldn’t even go in to the chamber so ready for a match tonight they don’t like wet they don’t like short I have a mrs I don’t need any more neediness in my life! a lad next door came with a welga pr200 and it ate it up for fun so what’s the best budget baker round 3k ish Mark thinking welga or there is a nh644 near by are they any good I know there not going to be any ware near a brand new baker but just want something a bit more usable than the bag off sh!t I have atm in other news I have a very clean 550 for sale if any one has a death wish and likes stress in there life 😂

A NH 644 would be ok for your needs, they did,t like short clover to much but baled most other stuff. Just check the state of the belts, thats one of the main issues if there running a different lengths.

Got a NH 658 here for sale, it replaced a 550 so I feel your pain. It’s done 50k bales of which we have put 30k on it in. Had new belts on it 18 months ago. Looking for £3500 but might come down a bit.

The 550 got sold for export, someone gave me £1500 for it, best day ever when it left!!
