Replacement for mf6480

As someone who once thought they were a die hard Massey fan and would never buy anything else I’d recommend trying something else.
My most recent purchases have been a case maxxum 150 and a Valtra T215 neither of which is perfect but which I much prefer to the newer Masseys.
Part of me is still very much a Massey man at heart but I’ve recently had a 7718 on trial and sent it back as I couldn’t get on with it.
No doubt a lot is down to personal preference but if you don’t try you won’t know

MF rep wants me to try a Fendt now as reckons they’re easier to operate than the Masseys now

Fairly die hard JD chap local has just gone Fendt, so they must be okay.
Problem with deere is theyr now fendt money in lots of cases but the fendts nicer and holds the resale better (not that deere is bad in this) so it makes it a no brainer in the premium bracket. Could any1 answer me what the price difference in say a mccormick x7 618 vario would be and a 718 as was having this discussion this mornin with a friend

Yes the massey dyna vt isnt cheap enough to put up with all its shortcomings compared to its green sibling,
Love to know what the short comings are.
My 7s190 is cvt, it has a Fendt back end and gearbox and a better engine than the deutz. It also has 4 years warranty
What precisely would be the reason to by its “green sibling”
Is it short of flashing beacons?

Ok i see your point, but the new fendts are coming with a sisu, they have the 1 range vario which is a good step up especially for work like slurry and silage cart where your road and field all day, thier screen is more user friendly and it doesnt look like a total afterthought that they realised they had no screen so just bolted it to the door, the dash is touch screen which for using guidance is great, fendts paintwork is better, it costs a bit more but keep it 10 years and go to sell it the value will be greatly different, the fendt stabilisers are sooo much better than all other brands which doesnt sound like much but once you use them a while its actually important, imo theyr far smarter looking and once they go for a look they keep it basicly so even tractors thats 10 yeads old looks uptodate whereas massey change it quite often making the old model look older instantaniously, of course this is all my opinion and im not saying im right just saying how i see it
