The original exhaust like that would good. Burgess ones on the 35s at that time had a wee bit of a whistle ,can hear it yet

Burgess also supplied DB exhausts, and the three pot DBs also had that same distinctive burble to them.

On mine a1972 is a black exhaust with MF 5 embossed near the bottom, would this be correct being black,

Afraid no that would be a replacement one ,white with a longer top section than the non cab ones,the top of the silencer on that era used to crack where it reduced to the top pipe.

Is the windscreen wiper on that cab electric or just hand operated as many were on cabs of that era?

No the remnants of the hand operated one was still there I fitted an electric one . From a slightly newer Winsam price list it was £6.60 for the wiper and the indicators were £8.80

i will have look for you, we do have quite abit genuine bits yea all try to get some more photos for you yea ther are 2 styles of multipower decals ours isnt said to be correct thanx

Got the exhaust the right colour as well

Biggest trouble with fords of that era is when you paint a dexta. Were the grilles silver, blue or red, as period images of them and sales literature at the time with all 3 variations!!

Yes who really knows, the hardest thing with the new performance is getting the "grey" most people seem to paint them 5000 white. We don't really like painting tractors I prefer original but this had been done half arsed so Dad went the whole hog so to speak, good years all round etc and she looks well, I prefer my 1962 major

Dad is very good with a spray gun but it's all DIY stuff just a air sander a kettle and a spray gun and lots of practice

this is his wagon again all sprayed in the shed at home. Apologies to people who've seen it before

Ive had both, and found i can make a much better job with the gravity feed

Gravity (empties completely) and better for the finer stuff but, either will do .......
Not a fan of the rattle cans ..............

Dad used to use a devilbliss gravity gun now uses a suction pot gun not sure what make think it is just a machine mart job, he has his own sand blasting pot and also a large sand blasting cabinet and literally spends weeks on tin work prep, and his patience is endless if he gets a run he'll rub it down and start again
