What airfilter is that is that how they were, look's like a paint tin hahah.

Looking very smart how many hours you got in it now??
Its the orginal box buts its in bad shape so I just gave it a coat of primer until i get a good second hand one from a breaker.
Probably an average of 20 hours a week between me and Dad since the middle of March so a fair few!

Got this on Saturday, another project, think it's one of the last of them, must have been ex counsel as it's got yellow paint underneath. Cab is completely rotting, restored a 2wd one of these few years ago, I love the simplicity and proportions of them. So that's my winter evenings sorted!

We had a 4000 once (1973 M reg) it had yellow paint underneath, but was delivered brand new as a normal blue one, dont think it was a primer, definitely council yellow.

I think they painted a few yellow to fill orders that might come but never went through so blue was then added a later date
Also heard they had a day paining yellow ect and painted to many so they go back through not from a reliable source but seems fitting i guess

It's an h pattern which I don't mind as I had a colum change or monkey puzzle one as they called them, I found it ok to use although 2nd gear to 3rd gear required some thought and time, remember getting caught once on a hill, thought she'd do it in 3rd but she didn't! By time I got down into 2nd I was already going backwards, thankfully there was no one behind me!
