Yep that looks a good job I'd be happy with it when you look at the design it does fairly straightforward but I bet it isn't

Well done
Far from simple, it took my guy about 20 samples to get the correct radius on the bends on the top and bottom . He also had to fabricate a set of dies to fit into the brake press to fold the raised hump in the middle. He said he wouldnt do another one for love nor money.

Well I better update to sorry to all interested just gets abit manic at times and I forget to get pictures of what I'm ok with
So here goes
The 178 wheels are completed the bonnet and mudguards have had their 1st 4 coats of etch, high build primer then 2 costs of red,we paint our panels are painted the old school way it's dearer but you get alot better finish.

The 550 cab has been blasted and repair sections welded in and smoothing the joins and rust pits to for a super smooth finish... Well that our plan anyway!

Got mudguards and bonnet painted on the 178
They look really well for 47 yes old.
Build them up and fit them tomorrow, hopefully the parts will be back from rechroming tomorrow aswell then bonnet can be fitted too a few jobs left to do to finish off
On the wireing side of things
Steering wheel to repair and paint as is weight frame and weights
This one is going back with a 3 furrow plough so that's added onto job list now aswell.
