I can see why they did it, was cheap way to do it to make the cross members the floor! But a bad idea for water ingress i quite enjoyed doing it cost alot but stil a daft ideaWern't those weeks trailers the best floor design ever... not.

The 188 was bit of an odd ball was a canceld export order from new no mp an no cab i believe how true that is im not sure but the owner was adament he had it nearly newLike the 168 in your early post, and would love the 188 if it had retained the cab.

3 hours? I used to re-shell damaged cars, could give it 3 coats of cellulose in less time, actually spaying it took no more than 10 mins the rest was waiting time. This was with a £30 gun that would need 2 pots full per coat.
So that was all done in one go, but more than one coat?No point trying to spray with low pressure it there....would have taken an hour with a bigger compressor, although the 15s chassis took almost 7 litres of paint, time i had done underneath the chassis and under the cab

We got told to paint them like this thats what he wanted and thats what we did simple as that and plus they look smart its not my tractor an i aint paying we did 5 35s in a row and to be honest it was nice to do 1 diffrent
