We have pathway used by the public for a couple of months in the summer. Currently limestone type 1 which is ok when first rolled down but after a while we get loose stones on the surface which the oldies moan about. Is there any way of binding / stabilising the surface or just have to resort to concrete or tarmac?

old english path gravel/self binding gravel. It is what the national trust use to bind their gravel paths.

role that, lay this thinly on top and role when slightly damp. Hope the sun comes out and it will bake very hard. Longer you can keep people off it the better it will be in end.
