They use harshDrt 14 tonners
Mine was less than a £1000, dealer dropped new trailer in his yard and I collected. Our larrington sheet was under 3k not too bad in a kit form
Whats going to hold it up when there is no load in it?Harsh good but not cheap.
We're looking at an end to end rollup sheet that winds onto a roller on the back door, so as not to block visibility or be fowled by wheels - and also allow the sheet to stay on while tipping at the grader if necessary. As wide as the door frames to account for a raised load, and long enough to go lower down the headboard than the bottom of the grille in the front (where all the water from the tractor wheels pours in!)
This will negate water ingress from the wheels, and do away with the arches, which restrict visibility far too much for my liking.
I'd be keen to find a local sheetbuilder keen for such a project.
The roller it's wound onto - no need to sheet an empty trailerWhats going to hold it up when there is no load in it?
?? on a half load unwound are you having some bunge straps all along the sides to keep it taught?... would need something when its windy anyway. The roller it's wound onto - no need to sheet an empty trailer

Probably. Ratchet strap tension will be ok for short term, but side bungy probably also necessary?? on a half load unwound are you having some bunge straps all along the sides to keep it taught?
Similar, yes. Difficulty is it needs to roll up on the hydraulic back door, not the headboard.Similar to these used on tippers

Idea similar to that used on a potato box trailer
