Retrofit on-board weigh systems for telehandler

I’m looking at options for retro-fitting an on-board weighing system onto my telehandler as I don’t run a diet feeder and want to be more precise with feeding. This would be for weighing forages and moist feed, rather than small amounts of conc etc.

Does anyone have experience of these systems and how accurate and reliable they are?

the options I’ve seen so far include the RDS weighlog 200 and Ive also seen the following company advertising on Facebook: www.rkplant.co.uk

Are there any other systems worth looking at?

thanks

At work with auger bucket on a JCB 2cx, we were using just a pressure gauge but it wasn't accurate enough so there's something on it now with just a multi meter plugged in. Each .1 is 10kg.
No idea how it works, boss man's brother is a hydraulic engineer so knows more than I do.

Have you priced anything?

I looked at fitting a q companion weighing system to my loader for exactly the same reasons, near fell over when the salesman quoted £1700. 😱

He said that was cheap, I told him there was an extra 1 in that 🖕

Is it easy to move between loaders?

We bought a rds weighlog for our manitou. Hoping it will do several machines.

No idea. I binned the idea immediately after hearing the price

When it was first released a year or so ago, there were plenty of press articles from quicke saying it was under £1000, and yet they now want near double that?

It needs sensors installed on the loader, but the latest Q series ones have wiring / ducting built in ready at manufacturing (which should make it cheaper!!). I don't know if the screen in the cab is hard wired to the sensors, or if they're a tractor swap friendly Bluetooth connection

I'm still reeling that you can buy a Quicke loader beam, brackets, and "deluxe" valve for £9k, and they think it's reasonable to ask near 20% of that for a wee TV screen for the tractor that tells you a weight?!?!
