Retrofitting softride to a loader

Hi,

Would anyone be able to upload some photos of how they retrofitted a softride to a front loader?
Can they go anywhere in the circuit or must it be connected in a specific place?

Is there much of a difference between those with 2 bottles - presume they are of differing pressures for unloaded and loaded operation.

I plumbed this into lift circuit. It doesn't reall matter where as hydraulics rely on the pressure being transmitted through the system.
I must have dropped lucky. Nice when loader empty, visible bounce when lifting 3 bales haylage.

As per nearly you can fit it anywhere just with a tee and accumulator. You can make it more complicated by adding in a valve or solenoid

Some loaders have 2 accumulators, one on the down side of the system, and another on the up side to take the bounce out.

A valve, ideally automatically opened at speed, would be a good idea. On pallet work it is very easy to slide out with some weight on and the forks jump up and puncture a couple of bags.

I thought the 2 accumulators were 1 low pressurised for unloaded bounce and then a higher pressurised one that takes over for loaded bounce?

Some might, but there is one on each side of the circuit on my quicke. I believe some have 3or 4 accumulators for your reason. However not had a problem with the single accumulator on the up circuit and works with various loads on the loader. Needs right precharge obviously. Think it’s 20bar on ours.

And some the two are set to different pressures on the same circuit, to provide progressive damping, for when you don't spot that feckin great big pothole in the road... and the tractor trys to throw u out of the roof hatch 😬

That's the type I'm thinking about.
